Tampa Palms Publix gets liquor approval

The Tampa Palms Publix at City Plaza received city council approval last week for a liquor store.  The grocery store currently is being rebuilt and is supposed to reopen in a couple of months.  Additionally, the rest of the City Plaza shopping center is undergoing a facade renovation.

The facade renovation of City Plaza at Tampa Palms in New Tampa is moving along.  The 158,287 sq. ft. New Tampa plaza facelift including a new rebuilt and larger Publix should be complete this fall.

All that remains of the Publix at City Plaza is this gaping hole.  When rebuilt, the new and larger Publix will be 54,000 sq. ft and it has a target opening date of September/October 2010.
