Tampa Palms Publix gets liquor approval

The Tampa Palms Publix at City Plaza received city council approval last week for a liquor store.  The grocery store currently is being rebuilt and is supposed to reopen in a couple of months.  Additionally, the rest of the City Plaza shopping center is undergoing a facade renovation.

The facade renovation of City Plaza at Tampa Palms in New Tampa is moving along.  The 158,287 sq. ft. New Tampa plaza facelift including a new rebuilt and larger Publix should be complete this fall.

Tampa Palms Womens Club to hold community yard and bake sale

SpringHill Suites set to open in Tampa Palms in February

The new SpringHill Suites by Marriott, under construction on Primrose Lake Circle (across from the New Tampa Rec. Center) is set to open around February 22, 2010. General Manager Sarah Bates says the new hotel will have 127 suites and employ 19-25 employees. Sarah still has openings for: housekeepers, laundry attendants, a reception host, and part time desk agents. World Of Beer in Tampa Palms opens

I hear from the WOB in Westchase that the new World of Beer in Tampa Palms (behind Olive Garden) opened on Wednesday. Their website does not indicate that they are open, but with the hectic pace of trying to open, websites sometimes lag behind. Telephone: 813-632-0020 .
